The Dean's thoughts
Hi guys. During orientation at UVA I got introduced to the dean of admissions. She told me that she "loved my personal statement." I cannot thank you guys enough!
1L After a 20 Year Career
As a non-traditional applicant headed to law school after a 20-year military career I thought the law school application process was going to be complicated and stressful. Not only did I have an LSAT score below my dream school’s 25th percentile but I also had an undergraduate degree from an online university with not the best reputation.
Colleen and Will helped me craft a personal statement and resume that highlighted my strengths and explained the circumstances behind what law school might perceive as weaknesses.
Not only did I get into my dream T14 school, I found out I was accepted by mid October. Thanks to Colleen and Will, the law school application process ended up being relatively easy and stress free. I can’t praise them enough. Now on to the hard part – 1L!
What Our Clients Say
Honest Insight
During my first conversation with Colleen, I asked her if getting a master's would help with my application. She smiled and said "no, not really." Then Will chimed in and said "yeah you're wasting your time if you're trying to go to law school." That was tough to hear, but I appreciated the honesty.
And so began about a dozen sessions with Colleen, with Will, and sometimes with both. I got an endless amount of valuable insight and Colleen not only helped me create a great personal statement and addendums to my apps, but helped me expand my list of schools.
When I began getting acceptance letters that included full ride scholarships, I was blown away, and I attribute a lot of this to the help Colleen provided for me. Colleen & Will gave me options, which before working with them, I didn’t even think I would get into 1 school, nonetheless, 12!
A low GPA Success
I can’t thank you enough for your help. I have to assume that the package made all the difference. I thought my GPA was going to sink me, but when I heard Colleen's story, I learned there was hope. I’m sure that without your help I wouldn’t have known how to present a picture of someone they wanted.
I would have bet against getting in, much less getting that much scholarship money. I’m sure that without your help, I would have won that bet!
Thanks so much for your patience and expertise.
A crazy update!!
Just wanted to update you – I have been accepted at Michigan! It feels so great! I am so happy and it honestly doesn’t even feel real yet. I want to thank you so much for your aid throughout this process. I cannot believe that I was accepted at my first choice school!! After receiving a not amazing LSAT score, I was not confident at all in my ability to get into Michigan, and I was prepared to give up that dream. However, your encouragement and guidance allowed me to put my best foot forward in my application and, despite being below the medians, I am now able to attend my dream school! I cannot thank you enough!
Thank you again! Have a great Friday!
Successful Reapplication To My First Choice
Hello Will! Merry Christmas! (Wait, do you celebrate christmas?) Yesterday I got accepted to Tulane! It was my first choice school. I am extremely happy! Thank you for your hard work and for making me believe in myself and improve my application greatly! God bless you and your family! Sincerely, Cooper (who applied previously, unsuccessfully, with a low 150s LSAT score, to the same school)
